I help policy research travel.

For twelve years, I have played a sustained role in getting academic, policy-relevant research in front of policymakers, journalists, scholars, and the public. Much of this work happens outside formal titles: reading papers, distilling findings, sharing evidence quickly, and helping good research reach people who can use it.

Public Scholarship

Research translation at scale

Last year, I shared roughly 500 scientific papers across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Bluesky. Those posts were viewed more than 45 million times and shared by tens of thousands of people, including U.S. Senators Elissa Slotkin and Mike Lee and Elon Musk.

More than 95% of the papers I share are by other researchers. I treat this as part of the job: too much good policy research falls through the cracks simply because the people who would benefit from it never see it.
